I have been involved in the hairdressing industry for over twenty years. I’m living proof that if you’re passionate enough about something then all your dreams can come true.

I’ve opened a collection of state of the art salons and my own range of products that I have spent years perfecting! I have been able to put all of my experience into creating fantastic solutions for your hair care and styling needs.

I was born in Essex and almost immediately began cutting anybody’s hair who would come near me. Slowly I developed; and some people obviously noticed, as I won Men’s British Hairdresser of the Year 1998. Quite a change from chasing victims around the house with my mum’s kitchen scissors.

Since then I’ve hit many other finals of awards, written for magazines and appeared on TV, but my drive is still to grow creatively.

I started my career by cutting friends’ and family’s hair in my mum’s living room, which was where my passion for hair styling came from, changing the way people close to me looked and finding the best styles for their features and personality.

After a brief spell in the Kings Road, Chelsea and in the US I returned to my home town of Leigh-on-sea and started developing and honing my skills and it was from there I opened my first salon and managed to gain a good reputation.

In 1998 my reputation kind of went into over drive when I won the award for Men’s British Hairdresser of the year and in 2000 I was able to open my second salon in Soho. Since then my life just seemed to go a little bizarre, I was voted into the This Morning television show by the public as one of their elite stylists. This combined with my other successes has enabled me to pursue my ideas with far more vigour, one of which was to launch my own product range in 2001. In 2002 I won probably my ultimate accolade the Most Influential Hairdresser of the Year which was incredible because it was voted by other professionals in the industry, the people who continue to inspire my work and push me into new directions.
